Need an Official Record?
Use the custodian that matches the Ray County record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and rap sheets: use MACHS through the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: call the Ray County Sheriff at 816-290-5323 and use the county Sunshine route for releasable copies
- Official background checks: order the correct name or fingerprint product through MACHS
- Police and incident reports: contact the agency that created the report, such as Richmond or Lawson Police
- Expungement: file in the Missouri court authorized by §610.140 and confirm procedure with the clerk
