Questions about official Ray County criminal records belong with the office that created or maintains the requested file. The contacts below route court cases to the Criminal Circuit Clerk, county records to the courthouse Sunshine intake, custody questions to the sheriff, city reports to the proper police agency, and statewide histories to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that matches the Ray County record:

  • Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
  • Criminal records and rap sheets: use MACHS through the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Division
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: call the Ray County Sheriff at 816-290-5323 and use the county Sunshine route for releasable copies
  • Official background checks: order the correct name or fingerprint product through MACHS
  • Police and incident reports: contact the agency that created the report, such as Richmond or Lawson Police
  • Expungement: file in the Missouri court authorized by §610.140 and confirm procedure with the clerk
